What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kids from birth through kindergarten (MOMSnext is for moms with kids from kindergarten to 6th grade). We know it’s a little confusing, so let’s just stick with “MOPS.” We connect moms and meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find their identity by journeying alongside one another.
Who can be in MOPS?
Beaverton MOPS is open to ANY mother of children, pregnancy through kindergarten. If you ALSO have school-age children, you can still be a member of MOPS.
Who can be in MOMSnext?
Beaverton MOMSnext is open to every mother of school-age children from kindergarten to 6th grade. MOMSnext breaks out from the main MOPS meeting a few times during the year to have speakers/videos address topics geared toward moms with older kids.
What does the registration fee cover?
MOPS International charges a membership fee of $31.95, which we pass onto our members. You will receive an amazing quarterly magazine from MOPS International with your membership! We hold fundraisers to cover remaining expenses, such as speaker fees and scholarships.
